Professional background
After completing his studies, Jürg Furrer worked for several years at UBS as an investment advisor and project manager. From 2004 to 2013, he held various management positions at Aquila - most recently as Head of Asset Management, CIO and member of the Executive Board. He subsequently moved to US asset manager PIMCO and then to Fidelity International, where he was responsible for the expansion of the Swiss market in a management role. In 2023, he joined Globalance Bank as Deputy CEO. Jürg Furrer has been CEO of Aquila AG since May 2025.

Professional background
During his studies, David Maestri worked as a Junior Advisor at Credit Suisse. From 2009 to 2014, he worked as an auditor at PwC and then moved to Leonteq, where he played a key role in the development of financial controlling and was most recently head of the cost management team. David Maestri has been CFO and a member of the Group Managing Board at swisspartners since the beginning of 2021 and joined Aquila AG as Head of Finance & Fiduciary at the beginning of November 2023.

Professional background
After completing her commercial apprenticeship at Credit Suisse in Lausanne, Carine Frick-Delaloye held various positions in investment and private client advisory in German-speaking Switzerland between 1999 and 2008. Starting in June 2008, she took on management roles in Retail and Private Banking at Credit Suisse, deepening her leadership skills. From September 2013, Carine Frick-Delaloye headed Personnel & Business Banking - Rhine market region in Zurich for nine years, then moved to Wealth Management where she worked as Head of EAM Core. In addition to her professional activities, Carine Frick-Delaloye has been an examination expert for SAQ certifications since 2019. Carine Frick-Delaloye has been Head of Corporate & Business Development at Aquila AG since January 2024.

Professional background
After completing his commercial apprenticeship, Martin Rubi began his career at Credit Suisse in Private Banking. There, he gained his first experience in client support before moving into client advisory. With this move, he took on additional leadership responsibilities, worked internationally on a regular basis, and managed departments in Singapore, Luxembourg, and London. From April 2012, he took on the position of Head EAM Regulatory Consulting, where he was responsible for implementing regulatory requirements. In the summer of 2018, he returned to client advisory, where he further deepened his expertise in direct client contact. From 2022, as Team Head, he led a team of 17 client advisors and was responsible for their development as well as achieving business objectives. At the beginning of 2026, Martin Rubi took over the management of Aquila Bank.

After completing his studies at ETH Zurich, Markus Bührer worked for several years at UBS AG as a project manager in the online banking sector. From 2011 to 2016, he held various project and management positions at Leonteq Securities AG. He then moved to the fintech start-up Evolute Group AG as a partner and COO. After a further stint as Managing Director for Data & Business Intelligence and Strategic Project Manager at Leonteq, he joined Globalance Bank as COO in 2024, where he played a key role in shaping the digital transformation of the platform and the use of AI. Markus Bührer has been COO of Aquila AG since April 2026.

Professional background
Patrick Frigo brings broad legal and business expertise at the intersection of law, compliance and financial market supervision. Following his studies, he worked at a commercial law firm, focusing primarily on M&A and capital markets law. From 2009 to 2018, he was with PwC – in both audit and advisory roles – advising Swiss and international banks as well as asset managers on all aspects of regulatory law and compliance. As a consultant at a law firm, he subsequently supported startups and fintech companies in drafting regulatory frameworks, in licensing procedures before supervisory authorities and self-regulatory organisations, as well as on matters of corporate and contract law. From 2020, he held the roles of Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of the Board of Directors at the insurance company Dextra. Since April 2026, Patrick Frigo has been Head of Legal, Compliance and Risk at Aquila AG.
